Airports, Airlines & Rental Cars: The Omaha Airport, Eppley Airfield, is 5 miles from the downtown area; about a 15-minute drive to the hotel. Omaha is serviced by the following carriers: Air Canada, America West, American, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Frontier, Midwest Airlines, Northwest KLM, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines and USAirways/USAir Express.
Major rental car companies: Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty.
Driving Instructions: Downtown Omaha and the Hilton are off Interstate 480. General driving instructions to Omaha from surrounding cities:
• From Des Moines (125 miles) -- Take I-80 West (121 miles); Merge into I-29 N via Exit 1-A toward Sioux City (2.1 miles); Merge into US 6W/I-480 W to Omaha (.9 mile)
• From Kansas City (181 miles) -- Take I-29N (174 miles); Merge onto I-480 W via the exit on the left toward Omaha (7 miles)
• From Denver (540 miles) -- Take I-76 E toward Ft. Morgan (182 miles); I-76 E becomes I-80 E to Omaha (349 miles); Merge onto I-480 E toward Eppley Airfield/Downtown (3.5 miles); Exit Dodge/Harney; Turn right to downtown (1 mile)
• From Sioux Falls (183 miles) -- Take I-29 S (173.7 miles); Merge onto I-480 W via exit number 53B toward Omaha/Eppley Airfield/Carter Lake.
